Q:  How long will a session usually take?

A:  A normal session usually takes 1 - 2 hours.  I do not take photographs for more than 20 minutes at a time.  If young children are involved a session can take all day!  After meeting all of their favourite toys and pets and being shown around, factoring in snack breaks etc.  If I don't know the children already I sometimes break up the shoot into 2 sessions on different days if distance isn't a problem.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Whatever you are most comfortable in.  It is quite a good idea to bring a few changes of clothes if the shoots are gong to take place on the same day. 

Q:  What happens if it is raining?

A:  I always telephone a few days before the shoot to confirm (after checking the long term weather forecast!)

Q: Do you have a limit to the number of people involved in a shoot?

A:  Not really! Please feel free to bring along family and friends, and dogs, cats, horses............... However if you want natural pictures it is sometimes better in a smaller group - up to 6
